Role: Accounts Assistant
We are a busy fast-growing poultry manufacturing company that requires Accounts Assistant to provide administrative support to our accounts department. We require someone who is reliable, hardworking, has excellent communications skills, good attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-To assist the Accounts/Admin team in ensuring daily duties are complete.
-Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
-Issuing sales invoices, Bank reconciliations, entering purchasing invoices, etc.
-Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
-Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
-Managing petty cash transactions.-Controlling credit and chasing debt.
-General office duties (answering the phones, photocopying, sorting the post, sending emails etc.)
Requirements:
· Minimum AAT Level 3 or above
· Previous experience in a similar role –minimum 12 months
· Experience working in an office environment
· Experience of office-based computer systems and software
· Excellent communication and attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to quickly learn new processes
· Ability to work under pressure, organise and prioritise responsibilities
You will be located at our Head Office in Aldridge, West Midlands.
Salary: Competitive
Working Hours: Monday –Friday 9am to 5pm.
