Job Scope and Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the customer acquisition process from initial outreach to opportunity discussions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers in person and virtually; responsible for creating relationships with new prospects, decision influencers, and decision-makers on a regular basis.
- Attend industry trade shows and conferences to identify potential customer leads and to build productive contact with existing customers.
- Travel to attend face-to-face meetings with potential and existing customers.
- Work under the direction of the VP of Distribution.
- Maintain and grow existing clientele base.
- Identify prospective customers through networking, prospecting, referrals, organization membership and conference/trade show attendance.
- Respond to and follow up on business development opportunities.
- Prepare, review and present quarterly Business Reviews.
- Initiates and answers inbound and/or outbound sales calls directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers.
- Responsible for achieving their individual assigned pharmacy sales goals/KPI's via outbound and inbound telephone calls for the purpose of selling ASPN products and services.
- Identifies growth opportunities within organization and customers business models.
- Assists Sales Managers to achieve/exceed established daily and monthly productivity goals.
- Compliance with the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and its implementing regulations, as amended (“HIPAA”).
Performance Criteria:
- BA/BS Degree
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to identify new opportunities and develop pipeline of prospects.
- Ability to create and present business plan.
- Highly motivated and able to work in a team environment.
- Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
- Competent in use of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
