Equine Insurance Account Handler:
Shearwater Insurance Services Ltd, one of the UK’s leading Equine insurance specialists are seeking a full-time equine account handler, this will be an entry role and full insurance training will be given with an opportunity to progress to a full-time account executive position. The position will be a hybrid of working from home two days per week and working three days per week from our Waltham Cross based office.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, hard-working person who works well in a fast passed office environment. The ideal person works well in a team and pays particular attention to detail. The ideal person will have the willingness to learn, and some level of equine knowledge is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and progress in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and issue quotations and business documents
- Dealing with incoming customer service and sales calls
- Time management of your own workload
- Communication with brokers and underwriters
- Support and help grow the Equine liability and property division of the company.
Skills and experience:
- Good customer service focus with the ability to build a good rapport
- Experience in computer application systems such as Excel, Word & Outlook
- Ability to deliver accurate information with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Sales Skills
Full training will be provided with a structured training plan together with all working equipment like laptop, and WFH equipment, this is also an opportunity to become a key member of a fast-growing and leading company.
