Full Time Accounts Assistant
The Accounts Assistant required for a client in Portsmouth. You will be responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to the Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and submitting financial reports and statements
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements
- Processing invoices and payments
- VAT Returns
- Maintaining accounts payable and receivable records
- Process Payroll & CIS returns
- Assisting with pensions & payroll queries
- Providing customer service to clients and vendors
Qualifications:
- Ideally AAT qualified
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
