Gypsum Limited is a successful and busy Drylining & Plastering Specialist who are looking for a highly organised and efficient Accounts Assistant to work alongside the Financial Director.
This is a diverse role that would suit a motivated and adaptable individual. The role is predominantly accounts/bookkeeping with administrator duties, making each day different. You will be joining a small friendly and kind team.
Account Duties: (not limited to)
- CIS subcontractor processing - verification, invoices, payments & monthly returns
- Processing invoices, receipts & income
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations & payments
- Bank account reconciliations
- Monthly VAT returns & Year End preparation
- Monthly Payroll processing
- Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management
Office Administration Duties: (not limited to)
- Health & Safety record management
- Training recording & organising
- Arranging annual fleet insurances, vehicle servicing & MOT's
- Providing administrative and clerical support to the team when required
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience of Sage Line 50 and Excel
- Bookkeeping/Accounting experience required
- Good knowledge and understanding of VAT
- A basic understanding of Payroll and CIS is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised and efficient
- Good at multitasking, prioritising & time keeping
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Salary:
Negotiable – based upon experience
