We have an excellent opportunity to join our Accounts Team as an Accounts Assistant.
Job Purpose:
The Accounts Assistant role will consist of providing administrative support to the Accounts department including sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control. This is a varied role where every day is different!.
We’re looking for applicants who seek satisfaction in providing a first-class service and are happy to engage with internal departments and key stakeholders. Applicants must be good communicators and listeners who take pride in their work.
Job Summary:
- Processing bank reports daily.
- Send statements and copy invoices as requested.
- Generate bulk files and submit to the bank.
- Month end trust account reconciliations.
- Download and reconcile card payments.
- General Admin including answering emails from 3 inboxes.
What you’ll need:
- Previous accounts knowledge.
- To be well organised and passionate about providing a great service.
- Enjoy variety and learning new skills.
- Have keen attention to detail.
- Good general computer skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.
Full training in systems and processes will be provided, but previous use of business systems and or the automotive/Warranty/service plan market would be an advantage.

- Salary (FTE £23,562) £12,563.20 pro rata
- OTE £1,200 per annum in target related commission
