We work with a number of manufacturers providing storage and distribution, supplying to full & short line wholesalers, pharmacies, GP surgeries and hospitals.

We are expanding our Finance team and have the opportunity for a experienced Accounts Assistant to join us. This will be a full-time position, working 40 hrs per week to start ASAP.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with supplier invoice processing, claims and statement reconciliations.
- Weekly reconciliation of distribution costs.
- Daily processing of customer receipts in a timely manner.
- Daily credit control for all customers.
- Daily checking of sales orders on hold contacting customers / sales team to resolve queries.
- Tracking of any sales errors made and reporting these to the sales management.
- Flagging any issues regarding potential bad debtors to Financial Controller.
- Weekly aged debtors reporting.
- Daily bank reconciliations.
- Filing and banking.
- Monitoring of the finance inbox and responding to customers / sales team queries.
- Dealing with customer / sales team queries by telephone and teams.
- Any other ad hoc duties as requred Financial Controller & Finance team.
Person Specification:
- Account experience- (E)
- Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills (D)
- Experience working with Orderwise (D)
- Strong computer skills (E)
- To collaboratively work and co-operate with colleagues, providing cover when required during busy periodsc, flexibilty is key (E)
- Demonstrating the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines (E)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills (E)
- Good administrative and organisational skills (E)
