Position Summary
As a bilingual (English/French) Account Associate in our International Business Development group, you will work alongside CBN Directors and Account Managers as we pursue new business opportunities and support our established customers in French speaking regions of the world. In this entry level role, you’ll be given the opportunity to learn about complex IT solution sales (identification systems, border management systems, etc.) in the Business-to-Government (B2G) space as you provide sales and administrative assistance for both business development and account management activities.

What You Will Do
Support the Business Development team as they pursue opportunities within existing and new accounts by assisting with proposal preparation, assembly, delivery and ensuring that submission deadlines are achieved;- Manage the sales inquiry, design brief order receipt notification, sales order and delivery request processes for your assigned customers;
- Maintain a tracking spreadsheet for all contract deliverables, monitor deliverable fulfillment, accurately invoice customers against key deliverables and provide regular status reports to the Business Development team;
- Liaise with various internal departments and personnel (Project Managers, Customer Support, Finance, Manufacturing) and monitor projects, change requests, inventory levels, production and delivery requirements to ensure that schedules are on-track and pro-actively communicate any potential issues to the team;
- Maintain Business Development directories and ensure they are up to date with all relevant contract, commercial and financial information;
- Build strong working level relationships with our customers and provide top-notch customer service by addressing their inquiries expediently and effectively and escalating to appropriate internal stakeholders as required; and
- Various other duties and responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- University degree (preferably in business, marketing, international studies, or STEM)
- Previous sales, customer service, or administrative experience is an asset
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with MS 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)
- Excellent organization/time management skills
- Attention to detail
Mandatory Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.- Fluency in English and French
- Ability to travel domestically/internationally as required
