Were currently looking for an experienced Management Account Assistant to join the Boux Avenue finance team. As a key member of the Finance team, you will assist with the production of monthly management accounts and the annual budgeting process for the Boux Avenue brand.
What will the role include?
- Support the production of monthly Management Accounts including preparation of accruals & prepayments workings and posting of month end journals.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Weekly updates of Marketing and eCommerce cost trackers.
- Maintain Fixed Asset registers, including Capex reporting and depreciation.
- Support with preparation of the annual Budget process.
- Assistance with preparation for Year End, including producing Audit deliverables and preparation of information for Statutory Financial Statements.
- Landlord Turnover certificates and Office for National Statistics returns.
- Other Adhoc duties as required.
What would we like to see in you?
- 1-2 years finance/accounting experience; currently studying for an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) would be beneficial.
- Ideally have experience of the retail sector, multi-site experience is an advantage.
- High level of spreadsheet ability essential for data manipulation (e.g. sumifs, lookups, pivot tables).
- Ability to work to tight timescales whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A team player, with good communication skills and the confidence & credibility to interact with colleagues at all levels.
