Job description
ACE Winches are currently looking for a full time permanent Accounts Assistant to assist the Management Accountant and Financial Coordinator with producing timely monthly management accounts and required analysis, provide financial support to Project Managers including the tracking of costs by projects, timely raising of sales invoices, financial analysis and reporting of projects. Depending on the level of experience, the Accounts Assistant could contribute to the optimization of profit margins with feedback into future tenders for projects, and the minimization of any financial risks.
Roles and Responsibilities
To liaise with operations and project managers to have a good understanding of projects including the financial milestones, invoice trigger points, and other financial considerations.
To liaise with operations and ensure timely raising of sales invoices for certain divisions / projects.
To track Variation Orders from customers, ensuring good communications with operations for status updates.
To assist Management Accountant & Finance Coordinator with management accounts process: Work In Progress, Cost to Completion, Stock & Revenue accruals
Monthly Accounts analysis.
Creating project financial reports, appropriate analysis and discussion with project managers and ensuring project management have financial understanding prior to project review meetings.
Managing job numbers, ensuring jobs are raised and closed in a timely manner.
Assist with annual financial audit and other annual reporting requirements.
Assist Stores & Operations with management of stock system, including but not limited to high value stock transfers, approving cycle counts, addition of new part numbers.
Other adhoc tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
Essential
Relevant accountancy or invoicing experience in a similar/other industry
Effective/Competent MS Office skills particularly in excel & outlook
