What is the opportunity?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an upbeat and lively customer centric team involved in business customer account opening activities and develop a detailed knowledge of the Banking industry. The role will primarily involve the accurate and efficient onboarding of business customers to Bank of Ireland. We will deliver training which will allow you to develop a good sound knowledge of our business and an exciting career in Bank of Ireland.
In this role you will -
- be accountable for delivering all aspects of account opening requests for Business Banking NI customers;
- champion & deliver accurate and efficient completion of workload, collaborating closely with the customer on queries and pro-actively advancing cases to ensure a swift resolution;
- deliver high quality day to day support to colleagues and customers through gathering relevant information to enable responses to queries, whilst completing all activities in accordance with unit procedures;
- record/update all relevant information on Bank systems with a high level of accuracy; and
- demonstrate a desire to learn and develop in a fast paced, changing environment whether it be identifying innovative solutions to support customers, building your own skills and capability or delivering effective and collaborative partnership and driving a performance based approach whilst evidencing high levels of customer service.
What will make you stand out?
- Ideally you will have customer service experience, demonstrating a high standard of service in every interaction.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus with emphasis on delivery and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and working to tight timeframes

Business Banking Client Services NI Account Opening team is responsible for the onboarding of all business accounts (including directive changes) for NI & GB customers and is based in 1 Donegal Square South, Belfast. This is a hybrid role with work based in the office and from home
