Position

JOB MISSION

To manage and develop the London restaurant channel and its accounts, dedicated to the Moet Hennessy still wines, Krug and Ruinart, through the proactive and innovative management of allocated resources. Responsible for high-quality execution of luxury brand, portfolio and company strategies to achieve volume and profit targets while driving efficiency and agility. Develop consistent performance metrics in a continued effort to reinforce our brand positioning within the on-trade and the hotel sector elevating luxury and our partnerships with key stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • To develop relationships with on-trade accounts to ensure optimal visibility
  • To develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve brand plan, distribution and revenue growth
    objectives
  • To further grow the existing customer universe and manage renewals of all key customer contracts
  • To lead contract negotiations and proposals within the sector for prospects accounts
  • To manage the P&L in the sector effectively and precisely
  • To achieve optimal product profitability based on KPIs through a selective distribution approach
  • To present, sell and achieve distribution objectives of MHUK’s still wines (Chateau D’Esclans, Chateau Galoupet, Cloudy Bay, Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Minuty, Numanthia, and Terrazas de los Andes, )
  • To optimize and manage credit terms with designated accounts
  • To effectively use all the business tools available to plan, monitor, report and analyse accounts
    performances
  • To develop joint business plans with all contracted accounts and deliver excellent consumer
    experiences
  • To manage, implement and evaluate promotional activity for target accounts that will drive brand
    visibility
  • To develop and maintain all customer database for accurate business plans (e.g.: Sales Force, FIP)
  • To develop and strengthen relationships with wholesale representatives and key trade influencers.
  • To demonstrate initiative and interest in increasing brand and product knowledge
  • To deliver excellent training and education for trade and consumers alike where necessary
  • To host and entertain key sector individuals at MHUK events and tastings
  • To act as an ambassador to illustrate and share best practices through active networking
  • To support Account Managers in pitching our wines within existing contracts


Profile

Professional experience & know-how:

  • Thorough understanding of the hospitality sector
  • WSET level 3, or relevant experience (i.e., sommelier)
  • Sales development
  • Driving sales and relationships
