About the Role:
The role's main purpose includes acting as primary servicing point of contact for HNW or UHNW individual clients externally and stakeholders internally to provide services and execute tasks to ensure the highest levels of customer and Senior RM satisfaction in line with regulatory requirements and bank policy.
This role may also require managing a portfolio of accommodation accounts/relationships with an objective of ensuring standard services are provided and where there are possibilities to deepen the relationship, these opportunities are identified and reported to Relationship Managers for action.
Key Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:
- The role holder will have client-facing responsibilities for accommodation accounts and for other types of accounts he will be assisting the RMs in such responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standard of excellence in client service by attending to HNW/UHNW requests
- Ensures client account opening documents are complete and accurate, requirements are met and ensure that any data input is dealt with in a timely manner and in the correct and consistent format
- Where required assist in the credit application process by ensuring that all credit applications meet deadlines
- Support the achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment
- Fully understands clients’ objectives and needs and ensure these objectives and needs are met
- Ensure clients are aware of their level of risk in comparison to their risk tolerance and risk appetite
- Support in the preparation of proposals, presentations and pitches for new products and services
- Complete review and submission of credit risk returns including limit excess/exception, security/documentation outstanding, monthly credit control reports etc
- Ensure the bank always delivers fair outcomes for customers and ensure own conduct meets all requirements and expectations
Key Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in Private Banking in Relationship Management related position(s)
- RDR Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of financial products, markets and lending and a good understanding of sophisticated products such as derivatives, structured products and futures
- Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues
- Fluency in English is essential – fluency in Arabic is desirable.
- Experience of working with Middle Eastern & North Africa clients (MENA).
- Good understanding of how a private bank functions as far as transaction processing, customer documentation, cross border rules, financial crime compliance and account opening.
- Team player and spirit is a must.
- IT literate with strong knowledge of programmes such as word, excel and power point, and ideally Avaloq.
