Abbott Nutrition are looking for an Account Manager supporting the North Central and North East London area.
What You’ll Do
You will support the account management and business development of the dynamic adult nutrition portfolio, your work will be focused on selling Abbott Nutrition’s range of products and services across both the primary and secondary care sectors. More specifically:
- Meeting (or exceeding) sales and activity targets
- Organising own time effectively to maximise customer contact and take advantage of business opportunities through a multi-channel approach
- Carrying out administrative work accurately and on time - including call reporting etc.
- Arranging meetings and 1:1 customer contact in order to educate customers and promote Abbott products remotely and in person when restrictions have been lifted
- Working effectively to manage own territory, as well as working as a member of an account management team and team of sales representatives covering a region.
- Attending regional meetings and sales conferences as required.
- Interpreting data (e.g. effort vs. results, frequency coverage of target customers, and sales data).
- Cross functional working to ensure community guideline inclusion as well as supporting the retention and winning of contracts
- Implementing healthcare management programs. (Guidelines)
Qualifications/Skills:
- Life science degree is preferred
- Healthcare background is desirable (eg. dietitian/nurse)
- Previous experience in in Medical Sales & Key Account Management is preferred
- Previous Experience in Nutrition is a plus
- Results and solutions oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to interpret data and create action plans from data
