EQUANS are recruiting for an Account Manager – North to be based at home with monthly travel to our Northern contracts. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary between £38,000 – £42,000 dependant on skills, knowledge and experience, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package. This role is also commission based
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with some of our key customers, providing a single point of contact approach and ensuring customers feel valued and are happy with every aspect of the service we are delivering.
The aim is to create long term value for both Equans and our customers through a sustainable long-term partnership approach and we believe that excellent standards of customer service are key to our success in this area. In addition, the successful candidate will identify opportunities for cross / up-sell and will be responsible for introducing broader Equans teams into these customers relationships, enabling us to deliver additional value.
There will also be a requirement to manage transactional sales for in-bound sales leads which will require a consultative approach and excellent people / negotiation skills.
What will you deliver?
Responsible for providing market leading Account Management to some of our most prestigious customers (combination of public and private sector / blue chip), ensuring relationships are always maintained.
Provide Account Management support, and will be responsible for identifying and managing opportunities for cross / up-sell with clients and for broader transactional sales of EV charging solutions from inbound sales leads
Maintaining and enhancing relationships with some of our key customers, providing a single point of contact approach and ensuring customers feel valued and are happy with every aspect of the service we are delivering
Manage transactional sales for in-bound sales leads which will require a consultative approach and excellent people / negotiation skills.

Who are we looking for?
Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients/team/business.
Proven success and experience in bid writing / bid management
Able to identify opportunities for cross / up-sell and will be responsible for introducing broader Equans teams into these customers relationships.
Industry knowledge – familiar with the EV industry
Presentation proposal and report writing skills.
Proven written communication skills.
Numeracy and verbal Reasoning
Ability to resolve complex issues and escalations.
Microsoft Office proficient
Strong understanding of OJEU process desirable.
