About the role

We are looking to recruit a proven sales professional to play a key role in realising Vypr’s growth ambitions. The role will be responsible for driving new business within existing customers, for example a subsidiary company or additional business unit. A key part of driving success will be working closely with the Head of Customer Growth as well as the customer’s Account Manager, to identify and unlock growth opportunities.

This role will focus on growing existing business, using a blended approach of leveraging existing customer relationships, exemplary sales process, and utilising marketing support. While the role will predominantly focus on new contracts, some accounts will be retained by this role to manage, whereas others will be passed to colleagues within the Customer Growth team.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Account Manager to identify and exploit new sales opportunities
  • Liaising with Marketing to create relevant ABM
  • Creating proposals derived through a comprehensive needs analysis
  • Leading solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Meeting assigned targets for sales volume, value, mix and margin
  • Delivering a world-class sales experience
  • Delivering exceptional account management experience
  • Supporting the wider Customer Growth team through demonstrating an exemplary approach to business development
  • Travelling to visit prospective clients where necessary

KPI’s

  • Achieves a minimum sales quota (includes ramp-up), from existing business
  • NRR in subsequent years of over 100%
  • NPS >50
  • C-SAT >82%

Background

  • At least 5 years experience in new business sales roles
  • Ideally in data insights/research SaaS and CPG
  • Proven high performer
  • Has used a consultative value-based sales process (SPIN, Sandler or Challenger)
