Your new role:
As a Broker Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing long-term, successful relationships with your portfolio of brokers and suppliers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders to increase the quality and volume of work we get and ensure profitability of your portfolio. You will identify new ways to maximise revenues and margins including sourcing and negotiating with partners.
You will also act as Supervisor to a team of two including the Sales Administration Function.
Reporting into the Head of Sales, you will also liaise between your clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to SLA standards.
A Day In this roll will include:
- Managing the client relationship at multiple levels, serving as a consultant and trusted business advisor to your portfolio of clients
- Working closely with cross functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to SLA standards
- Acting as the lead point of contact for any queries and escalations
- Be responsible for sales targets for each broker and brokers overall
- Managing budgets and invoicing for multiple clients
- Managing and updating the CRM database
- Attending monthly & quarterly KPI meetings
- Producing periodic reports
- Presenting new initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with the Sales team to identify new growth opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Essential: Excellent interpersonal & communication skills both written and verbal
- Essential: Proficiency in using Microsoft; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Essential: 2 years of client management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with people from all levels of an organisation
- A flexible approach to working
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Desirable: Knowledge of recycling or clinical waste
