Opportunity to join the UK and Ireland XML Sales team. The position requires to manage and develop a specific portfolio of XML clients based in the UK and Ireland in order to optimise sales and profitability in line with budget. The position requires to be based in our London office twice a week.

Key Responsibilities
Account management
- Visit clients quarterly.
- Ensure necessary paperwork is in place with client to support their trading with us, following any internal policies and procedures.
- Build strong relationships with key partners to gain their trust, engagement to grow mutual sales, and resolve any issues amicably.
- Monitor and minimize financial exposure position of clients to the business, support credit control in resolving outstanding payments.
- React quickly to missed opportunities and technical issues that are hindering sales, escalating where necessary.
- Provide client operational support, communicating internally, to ensure prompt turn-around of queries.
- Provide sales reports and detailed analysis to highlight where potential growth and under performance to the client and internally.
Account optimization
- Seek feedback from key partners to gain market and competitor intelligence, and feed back to the business.
- Communicate between client and Content department to conduct regular mapping reviews, and ensure clients have optimized and are regularly updating their mapping.
- Monitor traffic and booking activity closely to ensure clients are searching and trading in line with expectations.
- Monitor and analyse key partners’ online activity to ensure display and distribution of our product meets our expectations.
Proactive strategy
- Gain an in-depth understanding of each managed account, their set up, their technology, and their focus areas, to identify and recommend opportunities for sales growth.
- Propose commercial activity to maximize sales whilst maintaining margin sanity.
- Initiate regular contact and meetings with managed accounts to review partnership, market-share and agree actions for sales growth.
- Communicate with Marketing and Product departments to provide clients with tailored offers and campaigns.
- Initiate commercial negotiations with client to finalise agreements and incentives, creating a win-win position for the business.
Essential Qualifications & Knowledge
- Experience of working within online travel business and wholesalers.
- Experience of working within an account management role, specifically with xml partners.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
