About the Job
Joining our Royalties and Accounts team in London, you will coordinate workflows across multiple teams, to ensure global publishing royalties can be delivered to our clients in an accurate and timely manner on a semi-annual basis. Responsible for evaluation and high volume data processing of quarterly statements from the major record companies, print publishers, film and television studios and all streaming service platforms as well as local performing rights societies. Manager provides support for the end of the period organization of statements, payments and reports; helps evaluate and electronically process miscellaneous income, prepares and processes record company audit payments, and VAT processing.
- Oversee all aspects of domestic royalty processing, handling statement processing, reconciliations, adjustments, payments and advances
- Liaison with record companies and source licensees
- Provide leadership to the royalty organization, implementing and overseeing policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate semi-annual accountings
- Answer client inquiries, enabling high service levels to our writers, business partners & affiliates
- Develop and support income tracking initiatives to identify and increase collections of revenue for clients, in partnership with tracking team members
- Interpret contracts and implement royalty and accounting provisions within our rights management system
- Reports – using internal pitching and analytical platforms to assist with trend analysis and the completion of scheduled reports
- Meta-data management – handle large volumes of data ingestion mapping ISRC and ISWC codes and portal claiming
- File Maintenance and Record Keeping
Day to day, you’ll lead operational posting from multiple sources of income, analyzing usage reports, and executing meta-data claiming at the local performance societies.
The ideal candidate is someone who can remain optimistic and persistent when working to document, revise, track and develop income type collection and reconciliation . You will also need a high level of confidence in your decision making as you're faced with new process requests and amending existing procedures to keep up to date with changes to incoming reports and industry standards.
