About the role
As our Founding Account Manager, you will be key in building strong relationships with our customers and increasing our revenue. Your role will involve contract negotiations, identifying opportunities for growth, and delivering results that boost customer retention and revenue. You'll also work closely with our VP of Revenue to improve our customer journey and find new ways to automate our processes. Your Key Responsibilities
Account Retention & Growth: Drive the successful renewal and expansion of customer contracts by deeply understanding their needs, negotiating mutually beneficial terms, and uncovering opportunities for additional services.
Risk Identification & Management: Collaborate with our Developer Success team (your customer account team partner) to identify potential at-risk accounts early and formulate strategies to mitigate these risks.
Strategic relationship management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, gaining insights into their business needs, and delivering solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
Sales Management & Strategy: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using qualification frameworks like MEDDICC.
Design & Automate Processes: Contribute to shaping our renewal and expansion playbook, focusing on achieving optimal customer outcomes as we continue to grow and scale.
Entrepreneurial Spirit & Ownership: You have a proactive approach, with the capacity to take charge and treat the business as your own. You are ready to define and shape this function, bringing your innovative ideas and unique strategies to the table.
Who You Are
You have at least 2+ years of experience as an Account Executive or Account Manager for a technical SaaS product.
You are an engaging communicator with excellent listening skills and a knack for negotiation.
You have a proven record of exceeding quota targets.
You possess the ability to manage and negotiate multiple contracts effectively, aiming for the highest possible renewal rate.
You thrive both when working autonomously and collaborating within a team.

Compensation
If performed in New York or San Francisco, the total on-target earnings cash compensation range for this role is $133,333 - $206,667.
Our actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to you, including your skill set, years of experience, and geographic location.
