What is the opportunity?
You will accurately record all Insurables and Loans transactions to include bookkeeping, reconciliation, verification and insurance management. You will be responsible for providing efficient and timely administration in accordance with internal procedures and in line with service level agreements.

What will you do?
- Ensure that all data from RBC and third-party providers, relevant to assets and liabilities is collected and book-kept, to enable the ongoing administration, verification and reporting of assets
- Ensure ledgers are accurate and up to date
- Ensure all assets and liabilities are reconciled within the appropriate timeframe to meet quarter end deadlines for year-end accounts and Client Reporting
- Compliance with RBC policies and general accounting practices
- Insurance management. Ensuring all new and renewing policies are received and paid in a timely manner. Reviewing existing policies to ensure sufficient cover is in place and liaising with brokers
- Other ad hoc project work as required
- Training and mentoring junior members of the team
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Demonstrable accounting knowledge and practical experience
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and meet targets
- Works on own initiative
- Strong IT skills and focus on execution excellence
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
Nice-to-have
- Accounting qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification or 2 years’ experience in accounting work within fiduciary services or related business
