Account Manager
£55-60k plus package

As National Account Manager you will:
- Maintain and manage the increase in existing retail and foodservice accounts.
- Attract new customers through business development as both the lead and through involvement with the team on other account attraction.
- Work closely with the wider customer service and supply chain team.
- Present to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the budgets for the customers in your remit.
- Provide accurate sales data for the brand and own label products for your customer base.
- As well as reporting directly to – work closely with the Commercial Director.
- Build a strong relationship with the New Product Development Team for optimum product knowledge.
- Be in close contact with the Accounts function for all invoicing and credit control matters.
- Flexibility in working approach – ideally 1-2 days in the office each week.
For this Account Manager role, you will need:
- At least two years commercial experience in either food manufacturing or FMCG categories.
- Detailed understanding and capability of selling into retail and foodservice accounts.
- Detailed approach, able to manage the data for different customers in a deadline driven environment.
- A confident style when presenting to the customer and to internal stakeholders.
- Numerical ability to interpret commercial data correctly.
- Ambitious to deliver in a commercial role with a commitment to the business success.
- Strong influencing and communication skills.
