Retail Account Manager – Fashion Retail


We are currently seeking an experienced Retail Account Manager to join us. The candidate will have a primary focus on driving business by maintaining our company's relationship with our key fashion retail clients across the UK.


We are seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the role of Retail Account Manager responsible for overseeing multiple retail fashion brands who have combined revenues of over $10 billion per annum. Today we provide a critical platform to these customers which enables customization, personalization, and order routing & management of partner brands. As a critical liaison between our company and these retail customers, you will be instrumental in driving business growth, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring mutual success.


Critical to the success of this role is the education, expansion and transformation to an on-demand supply chain which can reduce markdown, landfill waste, and positively impact the negative margin of product returns.

What will you do?


  • Manage a portfolio of retail accounts in the UK fashion industry.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, operations, and retail strategies.
  • Monitor sales and key retail metrics; take initiative to identify trends, challenges, opportunities, and communicate this information effectively to internal teams.
  • Build sustainable and profitable relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Plan and execute an efficient account strategy to drive revenue and meet sales targets.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction, product requirements and delivery schedules are met.
  • Represent the client's interests, needs and requirements to the internal team.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Stay updated with fashion trends, industry changes, and retail market dynamics to provide informed support to clients.

Requirements:

What should you have:


  • Proven experience in an account management role, preferably within fashion or retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion retail market and its supply chain.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple accounts and projects concurrently.
  • Strong time management and organisation skills.
  • Solid understanding of performance reporting and financial/statistical data analysis.
  • Proficiency in English, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently as required by client meetings.
