Realistic OTE of £42k+ (Inc. Basic Salary between £32-36k)

The Role:

We are seeking someone with experience of using Diamond Drills and looing for a change in career or an experienced Account Manager to cover our customer base in the Midlands.

Predominantly in the Midlands and North of England with the requirement to come into Head office in Stevenage on a Monday (and as business needs require) to supplement our Office sales staff and Field Sales Rep who covers London and the South.

In this role, you will be visiting our customers on a scheduled basis, collecting and delivering Drill/Blades, Checking on con Stocks and offering additional products. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, but then also look to grow the number of accounts in your area. You will work closely with contractors, builders, and construction companies to understand their needs, provide product advice, and deliver tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary of between £32,000 and £36,000 depending on experience.
  • 1.5% of NET Invoice value Commission on sales to customers with no purchase history for 6 months (Uncapped)
  • Yearly additional achievable bonus structure worth £3,000

Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect and acquire new customers in the assigned territory to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our diamond core drills and diamond blades, including their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates on market developments to the management team.
  • Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote our products and expand your professional network.
  • Checking customers Consignment stocks and collecting/delivering orders & Re-Tips.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within the Drilling Industry or in an account management or a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of diamond core drills and diamond blades or related construction tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently present and negotiate with customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
