As an Audit & Accounts Manager, your work will go beyond overseeing day-to-day accounting duties; you will play a key role in shaping financial strategies, preparing and revising budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your ability to provide valuable insight into financial forecasts and deliver effective auditing services will make a significant impact on the firm's continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of audit and accounting clients
- Develop and implement auditing strategies to optimise efficiency and profitability
- Conduct detailed reviews and evaluations for risk management
- Prepare and revise budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and auditing regulations
- Deliver effective client services and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide valuable insight and contribute to the firm's financial strategies
Requirements:
- Must be ACA, ACCA, or equivalent, fully qualified
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Excellent leadership skills, with an ability to manage and mentor junior staff
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards
- Proficient in accounting software
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
