We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Account Manager with a proven track record of sales, Business Development or account development to join our Client team. You will play a pivotal role in growing our apprenticeships business by managing a portfolio of existing Enterprise client accounts.
What you’ll do:
- Manage a portfolio of Enterprise accounts within which you'll build relationships with senior leaders in order to grow them through expanding our reach and number of offerings
- Increase revenue yield for each account through expanding the scope of programmes delivered, establishing ourselves in new business units, while also driving renewals, cross-sells and upsells from existing buyers;
- Prospecting and networking to generate new leads and build your network within your accounts;
- Build and maintain a healthy personal pipeline to deliver and exceed quarterly and annual targets;
- Work collaboratively with Customer Success to deliver excellent client service and satisfaction;
- Consult and work collaboratively with clients to understand their needs in order to develop impactful, well suited solutions
- Create proposals and deliver pitches, negotiate and nurture opportunities to close;
- Create and maintain account growth plans and work with the Commercial Director and Account Directors to develop strategies and accurate forecasts;
- Facilitate client meetings and deliver insight sessions and events
- Effectively capture and maintain key information in our CRM and take a leading role in demonstrating a high standard of utilisation and maintenance of system and processes;
- Regularly measure and report on key performance indicators and management information;
- Accurately plan and forecast sales and learner numbers as part of financial and operational planning
- Plan in collaboration with key client stakeholders for each account, ways in which we can support skills development across their workforce, in line with reaching our own goals
- Work closely with delivery, compliance and marketing teams, collaborating to deliver exceptional customer experience/satisfaction and consequently long-term client relationships and high account growth/yield;
- Any other related duties as required by the business objectives within the scope of the role.
What you’ll bring:
- At least 3 years experience in an enterprise technology sales/BD role
- Proven track record of selling digital/data/technology enterprise solutions to senior business leaders and confidence interacting with senior executives and public speaking
- Experienced relationship builder/networker - we are experts in what we do, but it helps if we are likeable
- Experience working alone as well as with a team - we trust staff and give them autonomy to manage their time and to meet targets, but we also collaborate and support each other to succeed;
- Prior experience in outbound sales or business development roles (not necessarily a closing role, ideally been through some kind of formal sales training).
- Experienced user of sales methodologies including MEDDICC to ensure excellence in your sales process and approach
- Ability to influence - we are proactive, entrepreneurial and challengers, always looking to grow our business with our clients by understanding and solving their needs. Our programmes sell themselves to a point, we need someone who is given an opportunity for 1x but is looking for and wanting to shoot for 10x
- Experienced with using Linkedin to network and generate leads.
- You’re driven and focused on personal development/growth - background and education aren’t important if you can demonstrate you’re hungry and willing to learn and grow, we will help you do just that
- Target driven and results orientated with demonstrable experience in exceeding quotas
