We have a really exciting 12-month maternity cover position available for an experience Accounts Manager at a thriving medium-sized accountancy practice in the heart of Milton Keynes.
As the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts team and ensuring the smooth operations of the department. You'll be the driving force behind their clients' financial success, making a real difference in their business journey.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing work for the team and giving the final approval, maintaining the highest standards.
- Efficiently managing workflow in the team to ensure all deadlines are met, fostering a productive environment.
- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, nurturing strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships, providing guidance and support.
- Helping to develop/train the junior members of the team so they can reach their full potential.
- Play a vital role in onboarding new clients, ensuring a seamless transition into the practice.
Ideal Attributes:
- ACA/ ACCA Qualified
- Possess 5+ years' practice experience
- Strong tax knowledge
- Proficient in Iris accounts software.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Holding your own practicing certificate is preferred, although not essential.

What's on offer?
- £50,000 - 55,000 annual salary
- A non-contractual bonus scheme.
- Working hours will be from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with a mix of hybrid working to provide a healthy work-life balance.
