Alsico UK is part of the Alsico family of companies, a third generation privately owned Belgium business founded in 1934, today we employ over 8000 people and dispatch over 18 million garments a year. The Alsico group is the largest purchaser of workwear fabrics in Europe.

Due to our continued growth, we are actively looking to recruit an Account Manager to join our current team. The role will require you to provide sales and service excellence to our valued existing customers.

Overview

As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued clients. Your main goal will be to ensure their satisfaction, deepen their engagement with our products/services, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver on promises and exceed client expectations

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the onboarding and ongoing contract with Key Accounts
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the needs and requirements of your Accounts, including their bespoke product range ensuring all systems and processes are set up appropriately
  • Undertake regular progress and review meetings, both face-to-face and virtual, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Achieve set budget expectations and growth opportunities
  • Expand our relationship with key stakeholders of your accounts and serve as the link of communication between them and our internal teams
  • Closely monitor our KPI performance to ensure we achieve and, where possible, exceed the set targets
  • Resolve any issues and problems witnessed by stakeholders and provide proactive management of any complaints raised
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and expand our relationship by continuing to identify and propose solutions that improve our relationship
  • Identify and enact up-sell and cross-sell potentials
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Travel is required within the UK to visit customer locations

The applicant:

  • Experience in service delivery, providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills
  • Ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel
  • Previous experience of project management desirable but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £42,000.00 per year
