BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for an Account Manager. This role is Northern based, reporting into Summit One Farnborough.
BMW Group Financial Services UK is the result of two sister Financial Services’ businesses based at the Farnborough Campus coming together over the past 18 months as part of our EVOLVE (or ONE-SF) journey. Hence from January 2023 we are ‘One Organisation’ which is responsible for a number of external, customer-facing brands.

Account Manager (Alphabet GB) (Northern-based role)
You will be responsible for….
- Deliver and exceed vehicle order, new business and portfolio targets for assigned customer portfolio.
- Identify and qualify FSI opportunities across assigned customer portfolio, and secure additional FSI product wins to maximise profitability, utilising Alphabet product/departmental specialists where relevant.
- Identify, source and secure any potential new business opportunities and referrals from assigned customer portfolio.
- Ensure the retention of all customers within the assigned customer portfolio, working closely with relevant departments including the Bid & Tender team to respond to any RFI/ITT documentation.
- Maintain contractual agreements with customer portfolio (including implementation and management of any applicable commercial conditions), as well as managing contract novations whenever required.
- Provide regular and accurate forecasting for assigned customer portfolio as requested by Head of Account Management.
- Maintain optimal pricing position for customer portfolio, managing profitability at a customer level to ensure continued revenue growth through the correct management of mileage, reschedules, maintenance overspend, profit shares as required.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a new business or account management position.
- Proven track record of success against sales and profitability targets.
- Experience of dealing at all levels in high profile, multi-national companies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
- Self-motivated and self-managing with a proactive nature.
- Established experience of the financial services and leasing industry desirable
- Strong presentation skills.
- Persuasion and negotiating skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- High level of organisation and prioritisation.
- Financial product training desirable but not essential.
- Operating knowledge and reporting within Fleetware desirable but not essential.
