About the Role
We are a fast-growing startup looking for a Senior Account Executive to help us expand and drive our reach into the UK new market.
In this role, you will be our first full time sales hire in the UK market and have lots of opportunity for growth within the company. You will be a key contributor to UK growth by creating new business opportunities by reaching out to potential customers, generating interest, performing demos and closing sales.
The ideal candidate should be motivated, results-driven, have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. If you understand the challenges faced by SMBs and want to create the future of the finance function in SMBs, this role is for you! a
What You'll Do
- Qualify and close inbound leads
- Source your own pipeline of new clients through outbound activities
- Work with and support a BDR to create new opportunities for you
- Manage end to end sales cycle
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by continuously engaging them
- Identify potential client/market needs and work with internal teams to address business opportunities
- Partner with CRO to develop and implement end-to-end strategies for growth within the UK market
- In time, be in a position to build a team around you (if desired)
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Experience with small business accounting (either sold accounting solutions or run your own business)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a new market
- Results driven approach and ability to work against monthly defined targets
- A ‘can do’ attitude and be adaptable to change
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross functional teams
- Organisation and prioritization as well as ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable using Google Suite, CRM and other lead generation tools
- Prior experience working in startup environment
- Previously run / operated your own business
- Experience working with hospitality industry
- Experience selling into the SMB market
