About the role
We’re looking for a driven and ambitious and naturally curious PR Senior Account Executive to join our Grayling Leeds office.
As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for delivering excellent day-to-day client work, and playing a key role within the team to ensure that work is delivered on multiple accounts of various sizes. There will be a mix of both B2B and consumer accounts spanning engineering, tech, finance, retail, transport and hospitality.
The day to day
- You’ll play a crucial role in the delivery of PR campaigns for your clients including developing compelling press releases, landing media coverage, engaging with influencers, and delivering social media campaigns.
- Conduct media relations activities, including media monitoring, trends analysis, opportunity-spotting and media liaison
- Build and manage media and forward feature lists and recommends appropriate opportunities to target
- Conduct effective media sell-ins & identify the most advantageous opportunities for client coverage
- Deliver accurate written communication across a range of copy including: press releases, quotes, emails, status & contact reports, social media materials
- Manage departmental administration and support the team, ensuring internal processes are followed
- Build and manage top-tier media relationships
- Assist in the new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation
- Supervise Account Executives
- Monitor the media landscape for new opportunities to sell in additional Grayling products and services to clients to enhance revenue and profitability
About you
- Proven experience of working on a mix of consumer and B2B campaigns
- Strong understanding of both traditional and digital public relations
- A solid grounding in media relations, with a successful track record of pitching stories to national, trade and online media
