Working hand-in-hand with our equally fantastic service delivery, product and solution engineering team, our Account Executives help commercial clients leverage technology to optimize day-to-day work with their employees and customers.
Position Summary:
We’re looking for a tenacious, results-driven individual that is successful at selling through active listening and understanding our customers needs. You will position yourself as a trusted advisor and build value-added relationships to provide solutions in the client’s best interest.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role will manage a base of enterprise customers, have accountability for generating sales from new customers, as well as increasing the annual revenue of existing customers, meeting and or exceeding monthly quotas. You are customer-centric, driven, excellent at building trusting relationships.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for full cycle sales from: prospecting, cold-calling, maintaining existing clients, managing monthly targets.
- Build relationships with potential customers, qualifying new business prospects and building an active potential prospect list.
- Become familiar and adept in presenting our core products.
- Tracking all activity and results through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software.
- Effective forecast management.
- Develop and follow account plans for large accounts.
- Attend and successfully complete all required sales, product and process training sessions.
- Meet their monthly, quarterly and yearly goals.
What you bring:
• High school diploma with a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales role.
- Experience working with CRM systems to ensure all customer info is entered.
- Experience dealing with large accounts (more than 500 employees);
- Account planning experience.
- Proven track record achieving monthly, quarterly, yearly quotas.
• Strong business acumen.
- Aptitude for technology is highly regarded.
- Strong analytical skills, numbers driven and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in order to multitask/prioritize and work under tight timelines.
- Effective communication skills written, verbal and active listening skills.
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to work and act independently using good judgement when assessing difficult situations.
- Demonstrated negotiation and relationship building abilities.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and professional mannerisms.
