Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join their accounts team at the Semi-Senior. In this role, you will play a key part in providing comprehensive accounting support to their clients and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Conducting analysis of financial data and providing meaningful insights to clients.
- Completing VAT returns, payroll processing, and bookkeeping duties.
- Assisting with the management of client relationships and responding to their queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- AAT Qualified or studying towards your ACA or ACCA
- Proven experience in a similar role within public practice
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
