An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts/Administration Assistant to come and join Westons Garden & Property Services Limited on a full-time, permanent basis.

As the successful candidate you will be joining a business which has grown significantly in recent years, has ambitious expansion plans and continues to invest in its transformation projects and its people.
The ideal candidate will have worked within an office environment and any previous experience working within accounting would be highly beneficial.
The main duties and responsibilities of the experienced Accounts/Administration Assistant are:
· Producing and sending of quotes and invoices
· Processing accounts payable transactions, including verifying and recording invoices, and preparing payments
· Reconciling supplier statements
· Chasing missing invoices and credits
· Communicate with our suppliers and customers regarding account inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
· Data entry and reconciling bank and card statements
· Record keeping and filing
· Maintaining and updating the payments to suppliers on the Nominal Ledger
· Liaising with suppliers via telephone and email, and assisting with any queries that arise
· Purchasing materials and other supplies
· Maintaining and ordering staff PDA's and telephones
· Maintaining vehicle, public and employers liability insurances
· Assisting with the admin required to keep company accreditations up to date
· Respond to routine enquiries (face to face, telephone, in writing) on behalf of the team/managers as appropriate
· Ad-hoc billing activities as and when needed
· Follow up any emails regarding any queries on invoicing.
· Assist with verifying timesheet calculations, ready for the payroll team
· Assist with VAT returns
The main skills and requirements are of the experienced Accounts/Administration Assistant are:
· Considerable previous experience working in a similar role
· Very high levels of accuracy
· Excellent administration skills
· The ability to spot numerical errors
· Hands-on experience with accounting software Sage accounts
· Organization skills
· Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
· Excellent timekeeping and attendance
· Considerable experience using Microsoft Office
Please note:
This position is based in Yapton/ Arundel and you will be required to work within the office Monday – Friday. Please only apply for this position if you are willing and able to work in this location and have the above required skills.

Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
