About The Role

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Sunday with Days, Evening, and Weekend working

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Additional Payments: 6.7% Flexibility Payment

This role is subject to -
DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance - this post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). This role provides housing related support for residents and work with customers and agencies to provide longer term housing solutions and ensure that residents receive appropriate support. The role holder will act as point of contact for customers of the Homelessness Service, providing effective and accurate information and advice. The role holder will work as part of a team and contribute to the achievement of the services objectives, providing high quality temporary accommodation for people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. The role holder will ensure the safe and efficient running of the temporary accommodation scheme where based.

About the Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic person who understands the problems faced by homeless families and issues faced with identifying move on accommodation and knowledge of the private rented sector. As part of this role you must have excellent problem solving skills and you will need to be committed to providing a high-quality support service. You will actively pursue your own personal development and take full advantage of training provided. families.
