Accommodation Manager
Wardley House, Bradford
£25,920 - £27,284 per year
35 hours per week
We are looking for an Accommodation Manager to join our Accommodation Management team based in Bradford. Reporting to the City Manager, you will oversee the operational and facilities management of the site. You will work in a challenging and rewarding environment which will offer excellent opportunities to develop within the team and company.
The role of Accommodation Manager will include:
- Managing occupancy through working with partners and local educational institutions
- Preparing and managing local budgets and monitoring accounts
- Monitoring contract service performance, taking action to deal with poor performance and promoting best practice
- Managing the recruitment, performance and development of staff
- Developing and implementing effective operational plans to ensure that service delivery meets contracted quality standards
Skills and experiences:
- Proven experience of working in the student accommodation, hotel, hospitality or property sector is essential
- Proven experience of staff management within a customer facing environment
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications including, Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
