Are you passionate about teaching, with a strong desire to see your students thrive academically?

At Bournemouth University International College, we would like to appoint a Tutor to join our successful team and provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students preparing to study on undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes at Bournemouth University. We’re looking for individuals with knowledge of Academic and Study Skills related disciplines such as Research Project modules, Logic Critical Thinking and Contemporary Global Issues – an indicative rather than exhaustive list. Furthermore, a candidate who has experience of teaching Business related disciplines would be at an advantage.

The College works in close partnership with Bournemouth University (BU), preparing international students to study on undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in all four of the University’s faculties, whilst developing the skills and attributes they will need in their working lives. BUINTCOL is a friendly and diverse workplace, where academic and college services teams collaborate closely to offer an inspiring, meaningful and tailored learning experience for every student.

At the heart of our educational approach is a belief in supporting students to become independent, motivated learners who will thrive in higher education. We’re particularly interested in attracting committed teaching professionals who are passionate about their subject, open to incorporating technology into their teaching delivery and interested in finding new ways of bringing a curriculum to life.

Please apply with CV and cover letter. Please note, the vacancy will be closed when we have received a suitable volume of applications. We would encourage you to apply at the earliest opportunity.

Candidates will need to be able to teach face-to-face at the College premises.
