Your Opportunity
- Academic Sales Consultant - London
- Field based within the territory, spending the majority of the working week visiting customers in locations across London
- Permanent & full-time working 37.5 hours per week
- Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 plus car allowance, annual bonus, pension and other benefits
Higher Education Services is our leading print and digital courseware and services business in the UK, generating annual sales of around £18m. We partner with customers to provide world-class products and services that meet their needs, and those of their learners, both today and tomorrow.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Academic Consultant is accountable for sales and revenue generation at module/lecturer and departmental level within Higher Education Institutions, in the assigned territory.
- The role will focus on embedding print and digital products into target modules and departments, within target institutions:
- According to account strategy, engage with lecturers, Module Leaders, Course Directors and Heads of Departments
- Understand instructor and learner challenges in the module, programme and department
- Accelerate the transition from print products to digital services
- Embed print and digital products into modules according to account strategy
- Ensure maximum revenues are generated from retained and new adoptions of digital and print products via all channels including institutional purchase, direct to student, and via trade partners
Our Successful Candidate
We are interested in applicants with experience in a target driven role with a proven record of achieving results in B2B sales. You’ll be driven, highly motivated and always customer focused. Ideally, you’ll be educated to degree level with knowledge of working in the Higher Education sector. You’ll have an aptitude for learning new technologies and be comfortable with digital and print media.
This is a field based role covering the London territory, and so our successful candidate will need to live in or near London.
