Temporary, to cover maternity leave until 26 October 2024
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Academic Administrator to cover for maternity leave in the small and
friendly administrative team in this diverse academic department. The team is responsible for the smooth and
efficient running of the student-focused parts of the Faculty’s work, which are critical to the core teaching
mission of the University. The role will involve being the main point of contact for all undergraduate students
with queries relating to their studies.
This varied role is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience of academic administration as part of a
team of five who manage a range of processes and regulations, as well as to interact and help students with a
range of queries.
The successful candidate will be educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent and will be able to evidence excellent
organisational skills, initiative and problem-solving abilities. The ability to communicate effectively with a
range of stakeholders is essential, as is discretion, attention to detail, good IT skills, and the ability to work

The post holder will be based at the Faculty’s building in Pusey Lane, in Central Oxford, and is full-time. In
