What You’ll Do:
As a part-time ABA Behavior Technician at Learning ARTS, you will play a vital role in making a positive impact on the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy interventions designed to help individuals develop essential life skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
A Typical Day in the Life of an ABA Behavior Technician at Learning ARTS:
- Travel to the clinic or the client's home, depending on the scheduled therapy session.
- Implement ABA therapy techniques and interventions as outlined in the behavior intervention plan.
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, focusing on skill development, behavior management, and social interactions.
- Set up therapy materials and create a structured and engaging environment for the client.
- Attend team meetings to review client progress and discuss individualized treatment plans.
- Use our data collection tools to track and measure the client's progress and behavior patterns.
- Collaborate with the supervising BCBA to adjust treatment strategies as needed.
- Provide support and guidance to the client's family members, offering strategies for consistent reinforcement and generalization of skills.
- Document session notes and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Clean up therapy materials and ensure the therapy environment is organized and ready for the next session.
Please Note: Some therapy sessions may take place at the clinic, while others will be conducted in the client's home. The typical working hours for this part-time position are weekdays from 3 to 8 PM, accommodating the availability of clients and their families.

Qualifications:
- Ability to actively play with kids for 20 minutes at a time.
- Available to work at least 15 hours per week (afternoons and evenings).
- Good interpersonal and teaching skills.
- Excellent computer and writing skills.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Reliable Transportation.
- U.S. work authorization.
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, twist, and lift 50 lbs.
