JOB TITLE: Hospitality, retail and reception support

Background
The Harewood Estate lies nestled between Leeds and Harrogate, set in the sweeping Yorkshire landscape designed by Lancelot "Capability" Brown. The Estate has a diverse range of business interest including commercial units, residential properties, holiday cottages, arable and livestock farming, forestry, renewable energy generation, food production and hospitality.

Purpose
To support the existing team in different areas of Harewood Estate businesses to include:
- Administrative and occasional hands on support for our holiday cottages. Assist with the delivery of a first class holiday experience.
- Work hands on in the newly opened retail Farm shop within the Estate office to deliver outstanding customer service and encourage business growth.
- Work alongside and compliment current Harewood Estate reception team during days and times of day not already covered.

Key Tasks
Estate Office reception and retail shop
- Act as the initial face of Harewood Estate Direct, answering calls, greeting visitors, directing enquiries and providing administrative support to the respective business areas.
- Receive deliveries into the Estate and email / phone the recipient for collection.
- Ensure the office and retail areas are clean and presentable at all times.
- Work hands on in the retail shop, using FIFO systems and following SOP’s
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience and upsell at every opportunity to encourage business growth.
- Be responsible for stock control, price updating and ordering from suppliers when stock is needed.
- Encourage the expansion of retail lines to further enhance the retail offering.
Harewood Holidays
- Assist the Hospitality Manager in the delivery of a first class service to our guests
- Act as the first point of contact for guests, managing the provision of add on services and equipment to enhance their stay
- Maintain the holiday lets booking system, ensuring all bookings are entered accurately and consistently and all payments are up to date
- Report and analyse the available KPIs and highlight any issues these may suggest
- Manage enquiries and resolve guest queries
- Liaise with external booking agents
- Update the website for pricing and specification changes
- Assist with the compilation and posting of social media content
- On occasion be able to assist the Housekeeping team to ensure cottages are ready for arrivals in time
Ad Hoc
- Assist the Hospitality Manager with the delivery of events. Setting up meeting areas to the requirements of the customer

Core Accountabilities
- Ensure the Estate office is presentable and is run efficiently with all visitors receiving a positive experience.
- Ensure our holiday cottage guests have an outstanding stay as measured through positive feedback relating to their experience.
