Are you a 3D modeller who loves a low poly count challenge and is a stickler for detail? Are you experienced in producing photo-real, detailed and accurate 3D models?
Ride Shotgun require a 3D modeller to join our CGI production team based in Bradford. We need someone with at least two years of industry experience who can hit the ground running. The successful candidate will have a mindset for accuracy and practical knowledge of a range of CAD design software. The role will include producing 3D content in both parametric modelling packages and poly modelling workflows.
We have a unique brand of photorealistic CGI. We combine traditional photography techniques with the latest CGI technologies to create the most realistic alternative to traditional photography in the marketplace.
Your primary workplace will be in our Bradford office to manage delivered samples, model client products, and attend staff meetings. Attending the studio is integral to the role; therefore, the ideal candidate will be from the Leeds or Bradford area.
Primary Responsibilities
● Create and manage all 3D modelling files
● Manage quality of all outsourced asset creation
● Archive and manage all 3D assets
● Assess, optimise, refine and correct supplied client 3D files.
●Manage physical product samples
● Create and manage V-Ray textures library
●Give technical support to our client services team when dealing with client 3d & 2D data
Skills
● Extensive knowledge of complex modelling in 3D’s Max
● Experience with modelling in Blender
● Understanding basics of Scanning 3D objects and processing of the data
● Understand technical drawings comprehensively and be able to create 3D assets from those drawings to a high standard
● Ability to recreate 3D model from physical product samples to high standard.
