Mid Weight 3D Designer
Location: London, EC2 (3 days) and Remote (2 days)
Salary: £35-50k (Depending on skills and experience)
We're working with a leading Events Agency based in London, and they are looking for a talented 3D Designer, ideally with an events background.
You have a keen eye and technical skill to boot.
You will be:
Reporting to the Design Lead and Creative Director, You’re here to bring ideas to life - developing inspirational, creative designs in response to briefs, balancing creativity with practical solutions. You’ll work closely with other designers and the Production team, and have a good understanding of materials and production. You’ll be instrumental in designing exhibition stands, stage sets and other 3D environments, as well as working on space and floor planning.
You will:
- Help evolve our client briefs, presenting creative, exciting solutions
- Work closely with other designers and the Production team to ensure high quality output, sourcing new materials and samples and creating detailed drawings for costing and fabrication.
- Provide a range of options and additional visual references to demonstrate ideas are carefully considered, explored and developed to the full and use sketches, illustrations and stunning 3D visuals to communicate concepts
- Work closely with other departments to prepare creative proposals ensuring your work is delivered on budget and on brand and be willing to present these to clients if required
- Attend site visits and conduct on site inspections in conjunction with a senior creative
- Have an awareness of project profitability, and be budget conscious, flagging up any areas that may affect the bottom line.
We want:
- You’re an experienced 3D designer, with 3 + years experience in a similar role
- You can demonstrate strong skills in a variety of creative software
- Produce 2D CAD drawings for client sign off and for suppliers
- Produce 3D models and visuals
- Produce presentation decks and mood boards
- You have a good knowledge of production, construction and fabrication methods.
- Experience working in Cinema 4D, Vectorworks and the Adobe Creative Suite a must
- You have a high level of attention to detail and a strong sensitivity to space
- You can manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- You’re able to present and articulate your design and ideas succinctly and have great communication skills - sharing your ideas both internally and to clients.

- You have strong organisational and time management skills and can work under pressure

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
