Stoke Damerel Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join the School in September 2023.

Post: Teaching Assistant

Location: Collingwood Rd, Stoke, Plymouth PL1 5PA

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade C, Point 5 - £21,575 rising to a maximum of £22,369 (FTE)

Actual Salary Range: £14,711.23 rising to a maximum of £15,252.63 per annum

Contract Type: Part-time, Permanent

Contract Hours: 28.35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year

About the role

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, self-motivated and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our collaborative and welcoming academy.

About the successful candidate

You will have had previous experience in working with children in a similar setting and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike. Working in partnership with the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom, assisting pupils to learn and reach their full potential. If you have high expectations and understanding of behaviour of all pupils and can create and maintain a purposeful and positive learning environment, we would welcome your application to be part of our successful and hardworking team.
