Marlborough Primary Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Cleaner to join the School as soon as possible.

Location: Marlborough Primary Academy, Devonport, Plymouth, PL1 4NJ
FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade A, Point 2, £20,441 per annum
Actual Annual Salary Range: £6,119 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, part-time, term-time only (41 weeks per year)
Contract Hours: 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About the role
Under the direction of the line manager to fully contribute to site cleanliness ensuring all facilities are clean and available for use attaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene throughout the school environment.
About the successful candidate
We are looking for candidates that have the following qualities and experience:
- Willingness to gain knowledge of health and safety procedures and precautions, including COSHH regulations and an awareness of health and hygiene procedures
- Willingness to gain knowledge of cleaning procedures required to meet specified cleaning standards and use appropriate equipment
- Experience of general cleaning work
- Ability to work on own or as part of a team
- Ability to relate well to children and adults
About the School
We are a single form entry school based in a wonderful Victorian building situated in the Stoke area of the city. We link with our partner schools to develop strong and exciting learning opportunities based around John Hattie’s Visible Learning. We have a strong focus on a community approach to everything we do. At Stuart Road Primary Academy, we strive for academic excellence whilst ensuring that every child feels safe and secure and is supported to do the best they can.
We follow the Cornerstones Curriculum model which enables us to offer stimulating, knowledge rich, experiential learning opportunities that engage the children in their learning. We follow the Early Excellence approach to deliver our Reception class curriculum providing stimulating experiences for our children to learn through play.

About the Trust
Reach South is a young and developing Trust which operates across the South West of England with the aim of delivering all through 3-19 education.
