Citi is looking for talented individuals to join our Quantitative Analysis associate program within the Markets team in London. In Markets, we advise our clients on the best investment opportunities in the markets, including equities, commodities, credit, futures and FX and we buy, sell and structure their investments for them. The Quantitative Analysis associate program offers opportunities in the Quantitative Analysis group, along with Structuring or Exotics Trading desks. Here, new insights from the worlds of finance and academia drive innovation and excellence in mathematical and quantitative trading. Working alongside our experienced professionals, incoming associates will have the opportunity to actively participate and develop their skills in the above areas.

We’re committed to teaching you the ropes. The Quantitative Analysis associate program begins in summer and runs for 24 months. As an incoming hire, you will be trained in all aspects of the role, including an introductory training program with our analyst class. Over the course of the program, in your first year, you will complete two 6 month rotations across our quantitative analysis desks with the possibility to do one of your rotations on either a structuring or trading desk. This will be followed by a 1 year long final rotation. You will be placed permanently upon completion of the program.
Your time here will look something like this...
- Create, implement and manage the mathematical models that are used within Markets
- Price, trade and manage the risk associated with markets products
- Work with traders and salespeople in the more technical product areas to assist with addressing client needs
- Develop new products, consistent with the firm's risk framework
- Market new products to salespeople and occasionally assist in selling the products to clients
- Respond to client specific requests for product solutions
We want to hear from you if...
You have obtained or are in the process of obtaining a PhD or Double Masters in Engineering, Maths, Physics, Computer Science, or other scientific disciplines.
