We are currently looking for an Accessibility Ambassador
- Location: Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Surrey, KT9 2NE
- Hours: Fixed term contracts until November 2023, full time averaging 40 hours per week, working evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by the business

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Accessibility Ambassador at Chessington World of Adventures. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for guests with accessibility needs, providing assistance and information to ensure their visit is enjoyable and accommodating.
Your primary responsibilities will involve managing pre-visit and on-the-day accessibility queries, communicating specific ride restrictions, and monitoring ride access pass entrances to maintain minimal queue lines and ensure guests have the necessary ride access pass ID cards and QR codes. Responsibilities:
- Manage pre-visit and on-the-day accessibility queries, providing accurate and detailed information to guests regarding specific ride restrictions, accessibility accommodations, and services available.
- Assist guests in understanding and navigating the ride access pass system, including explaining the requirements for obtaining a ride access pass ID card and QR codes.
- Monitor ride access pass entrances to ensure minimal queue lines, providing guidance and support to guests, and ensuring they have the necessary ride access pass ID card and QR code ready for entry.
- Verify the authenticity and validity of ride access pass ID cards and QR codes, ensuring guests have the correct documentation for accessing rides efficiently.
- Maintain a welcoming and helpful demeanor, actively engaging with guests, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their accessibility needs are met.
- Collaborate closely with other team members, including Guest Services and Ride Operations, to communicate any ride updates or changes that may impact guests with accessibility needs.
- Provide clear and concise information to guests about alternate accessible experiences, such as viewing areas or seating options, when certain rides may not be accessible.
- Keep up-to-date with the accessibility features and accommodations for each ride, staying informed of any changes or modifications to provide accurate information to guests.
- Assist in resolving guest concerns or complaints related to accessibility issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
