You will be provided with the opportunity to work with children, young people and adults, learning to undertake social work tasks on a through-age basis, across a range of disciplines.
Investing in you and your development
As a Trainee Social Worker, we will sponsor you to undertake a degree insocial work through our partnership with the Open University in Wales. Post qualifying you will be expected to remain in employment with us for a minimum of three years. Once qualified we are committed to supporting your ongoing professional development with a comprehensive suite of training as well as access to post-qualifying awards.
Welsh language
Whilst we welcome and encourage applications from individuals who have a degree of fluency in the Welsh language, this is not an essential requirement for the post.

- Hybrid Working: Subject to certain conditions being met, you may choose to work from home or in an office location. Due to the nature of the role, it will be necessary for you to travel within Ceredigion on a regular basis.
- Flexi-time: Subject to service needs, hours outside of standard hours may be worked within a defined bandwidth, Monday to Friday. Hours accrued over contracted hours may be taken as additional leave (up to 2 days per 8 week period).
