About the role:
The carpentry and joinery roles are an integral part of the production process at our Somerset manufacturing site. Craftsmanship and high-quality finishes make our huts very special and maintaining high standards are essential.
You’ll be working from CAD drawings, following bespoke specification plans for each hut. You’ll be liaising with the Production Manager and General Manager to ensure every detail is accurate and as per the specification outlined on each drawing.
You’ll work as part of a team communicating during the production process. 1st& 2nd Fix requirements include constructing external and internal frames and fixing to the main chassis. You’ll be responsible for the installation of stud walls, flooring and roof joists. Other duties include hanging doors, installation of windows, kitchens, bathrooms and cabinets including bench joinery.
Your typical day will be fast moving - managing the production flow and ensuring all work meets the required standard that is synonymous with a quality brand, that is Greendown Shepherd Huts.
About You:
You’ll be upbeat, customer focussed and understand the need to deliver great products and service to our customers on time. You’ll be a team player and a good communicator who takes great pride in craftsmanship and the production of beautifully finished products.
