Within East Lothian we have an exciting opportunity to offer a newly created Advanced Practitioner OT post within Community Mental Health, supporting both Older and Adult Mental Health services.
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience of working within Mental Health and who is highly motivated and forward-thinking, to contribute to the development of new and innovative concepts, models, methods and practices in order to support/deliver new and improved proactive mental health practice in Older and Adult Mental Health services.
The post holder will work closely with the management team to support and implement changes to practice and contribute to ongoing service development. We encourage creativity, underpinned by a culture of team values, staff development and leadership.
This post is central to the delivery of clinically based therapeutic interventions, support, training and education and working as part of a MDT.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and team work skills are vital for this role.
The post holder should be educated to a master’s level or be willing to undertake training at this level.
